Our programme of events all about opening the doors, gathering ideas, and building something together. From artist meet-ups and workshops to exhibitions and conversations about the future of the space, these events are designed to bring our creative community into the heart of the project.
SPOT ON by Spag North
We have a limited amount of time at our @creativefactoryboro residency and we’ve already crammed so much in and still have more to come.
One thing that was important to us from day one was that yeah, this was all about having fun, sharing, collaborating and putting on creative happenings, but also we wanted to give something back. We want to platform creatives whose practices we admire and create opportunities for others.
So in this spirit we are announcing Spot On; an emerging artist showcase.
We aim to support the career of 2 young (16-19) artists who are at the early stages of their career but who show immense potential and dedication to their craft.
The 2 selected artists will receive
- An exhibition alongside 2 established artists
- A professional development/feedback session with their co-exhibitors
- Work professionally photographed for portfolio

Factory Floor Open Day
We want you! Our first group of brilliant creatives told us what they want: SPACE! and we’ve been thinking it through. Now, we’re asking you to come back in so we can share our thinking on what we can offer, listen to you, refine it and get cracking!
What we want to do:
Open new, affordable, collectively owned High Street space that sustains locally grown creatives.
What we need from you:
Come and tell us what you expect to get from this space and ask questions like: What’s the access like? Who can take space? What are the lease terms like?
Come and tell us what you’d expect from this space. This is the first in a series of 46 events in early 2026, with walk-throughs as the site develops.
